Originally from Beaufort, North Carolina, I decided to branch out and attend college at Appalachian State University, some six hours away from home. The time away has helped me grow in my pursuits, using the opportunity to pursue some great opportunities like interviewing my all-time favorite athlete in former NFLer and 2-time AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year Chad Pennington.
I've been a Carolina Panthers fan my entire life, but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Washington Redskins and New York Jets. Winning fantasy football leagues gives me my greatest sense of pride.
In all seriousness, I've always had a passion for sports. When I was a kid, I used to play baseball by myself in the yard by tossing the ball up in the air, and I would commentate almost each and every one of those games like I was in the big leagues. My dream job would be to serve as the play-by-play announcer for any professional team. I would love to bring that sort of passion to my job every single day.
